Turning movements for potential mini-roundabouts - This shows turning movement scenarios for a box truck, 100' ladder fire truck, and police cruiser that could travel through mini-roundabouts, which have been discussed for the intersections of Main St. and Waverly Rd. as well as Main St. and Water St.
Public Outreach and Input
December 2025:
Town staff began conducting a series of one-on-one, focused discussions with stakeholders in the downtown area.
September 2025:
The Engineering and Design phase of the larger Downtown Streetscape Improvements project held a public meeting on September 25, 2025 at the North Andover Senior Center. At that meeting, the Town's consultants presented conceptual designs for the public's consideration, which showed potential improvements along the project area. These potential improvements included "mini roundabouts" at the intersections of Main Street and Waverly Road / Main Street and Water Street, lighting, landscaping, pocket parks, street trees, bump-outs, crosswalks with ADA compliant curb ramps and rectangular rapid flashing beacons, and more. Attendees were able to respond to poll questions, as well as to answer questions they had about the project.
